Cocktails & Fishtails: The Ecology of Eelgrass

Washington Department of Natural Resources biologist Bart Christiaen will join Harbor WildWatch on September 19 to discuss the importance of eelgrass. He'll talk about the state's efforts to restore eelgrass beds, why eelgrass is important habitat and food for creatures of the Puget Sound and Salish Sea, and what you can do to help protect it. 

Doors open at 5:30 p.m. and the presentation begins at 6 p.m. Drinks will be available for purchase. Steward Club members are free; non-members $5.
