Steppin Up is Back

Let children benefit from you “Kicking Up Your Heels”:  Come to Gig Harbor for the 6^th Annual Steppin Up Women’s Conference

For the past six years the women at the Best Western Wesley Inn in Gig Harbor have annually brought together our local ladies for “Steppin Up”, a women’s conference to help you kick off the New Year.  And in 2012 they are at it again!

The Steppin Up Women’s Conference is an exciting and enlightening event with a mission to inspire, educate, and empower women.  Ladies come together to network, share stories, and meet new people, while enjoying pointers on how to become healthier and happier starting with their own mind, body, and spirit!

This year’s keynote speaker is the dynamic, funny, and inspiring Cheryl Haskin’s, Director of Operations for the City Ministries Child Placement Services.  Cheryl’s first book “Girl Friends Don’t Matter” is in the works.  Cheryl will share her message and more about women, girlfriends and life at the weekend event.  Additional Speakers include successful entrepreneur and master volunteer Mardel Grunberg, as well as skin care and beauty expert Mary Field, and fabulous mom, volunteer and career woman, Bett Simpson Lucas.

But don’t just come for the speakers.  Steppin Up is a time for fellowship and fun. Saturday evening includes the “Heels Up” portion of the conference where women have the opportunity to enjoy chair massage, beauty tips, a healthy cooking class, health screenings, wine tasting, contests, give-a-ways, shopping from our local venders, silent auction, hor d’oeuvres by Le Garmache, and much more! Bring your girlfriends, mom, mother-in-law, sister, aunt, grandma or cousin. Overnight packages are available for a special Steppin Up rate.
