Gig Harbor BoatShop open for public tours

Now Open Every Saturday - Gig Harbor BoatShop will be open to the public every Saturday, 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.  Visitors can take a guided tour of the historic Eddon boatyard, see boat-building demonstrations, and learn about upcoming boat-building programs.

The Gig Harbor BoatShop is a not-for-profit organization. The mission of the Gig Harbor BoatShop is to preserve, interpret, and perpetuate Gig Harbor's historic working waterfront – the traditional small boatyard and Northwest maritime heritage.

Located at the historic Eddon Boatyard, GHB will advance this mission through the teaching of traditional and contemporary skills inherent in the building, repair, and use of sailboats, powerboats, commercial boats and small craft that the vanishing family operated boatyards of the Northwest have traditionally served
