A police-community partnership
Gig Harbor, WA; June 19th, 2013 - On Tuesday, August 6th, the community of Gig Harbor is invited to join forces with thousands of communities nationwide to gather together for National Night Out on the lawn at the Gig Harbor Civic Center, 3510 Grandview Street. A fun community-wide event from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. will include a delicious free BBQ and live music with the contemporary rock band “Third in Line” performing from 7:30 p.m. to 10 p.m.
National Night Out is a “community-wide” block party designed to heighten crime prevention awareness and an enjoyable means to promote neighborhood spirit, build police-community partnerships and send a message to potential criminals letting them know we will not tolerate crime in our community.
Gig Harbor’s National Night Out will include:

• Washington State Patrol
• Gig Harbor Fire
• U.S. Military
• Neighborhood Watch
• Free Wellness Screening
• Classic Car display
• Games and activities for children, and, LOTS MORE!
