Gig Harbor is home to two live performing community theater companies, both offering year-around theater that is fun, hip, musical and dynamic. 

Paradise Theatre offers wonderful indoor performances with a widerange of drama, comedy and musicals in an intimate setting only minutes from downtown Gig Harbor.  Through out the year Paradise also provides the community with singing, dancing and acting classes as well as summer theater camps for children and teens.

Encore Theater and the Academy of Performing Arts offers indoor theater from September –June and outdoor theater under the stars from June-August.  Family, comedy, musicals and drama are all included in the annual line up.  The Academy also offers year-around ballet, tap, and acting as well as summer theater camps for kids.
