2017 Pavement Maintenance And Repair Project – Notification Of Road Closures
2017 PAVEMENT MAINTENANCE AND REPAIR PROJECT – NOTIFICATION OF ROAD CLOSURES
Construction Update – October 9th beginning at 7:00 am
The City is moving to the construction phase of the 2017 Pavement Maintenance and Repair Project. Miles Resources, LLC has been awarded the project. The project will repave 32nd Avenue and Secore Place. The project will also complete pavement repairs on 50th Street. The disruption to traffic is anticipated to be minimal and is described below for each project area:
32nd Avenue - Construction is anticipated to begin on Monday, October 9th. The contractor will utilize a full closure of 32nd Avenue from the new Fred Meyer truck entrance to the intersection of 56th Street. Construction is anticipated to take 5 to 7 days. Only 5 of the 7 days are permitted to be a full closure.
50th Street - Construction is anticipated to begin on Thursday, October 12th. The project begins at the intersection of 50th/38th and continues approximately 700ft to the east. The contractor will utilize a full closure of 50th Street at the intersection of 50th/38th for a maximum of one day. Local access will be permitted via Olympic Drive and detour signs will be posted. Construction is anticipated to take 1 to 2 days. Only 1 of the 2 days are permitted to be a full closure.
Secore Place - Construction is anticipated to begin Monday, October 16th. The contractor will provide access to residents as necessary. Construction is anticipated to take 1 to 3 days.
