April Meaningful Movie in Gig Harbor

Special Event Raffle of “The Photo Ark” by photographer Joel Sartore. Sartore is circling the globe, visiting zoos and wildlife rescue centers to create studio portraits of 12,000 species, with an emphasis on those facing extinction.

WHEN: Friday, April 21, 6:30 pm

WHAT: “RACING EXTINCTION” a documentary film. This documentary deals with the spread of Homo sapiens has caused the greatest mass extinction since 66 million years ago, including global warming and poaching the efforts of scientists, photographers (featuring Joel Sartore) and volunteers to protect endangered species.

After the screening of the movie we will hold a special event raffle for the book "The Photo Ark" by Joel Sartore. Sartore is circling the globe, visiting zoos and wildlife rescue centers to create studio portraits of 12,000 species, with an emphasis on those facing extinction.
