WHAT: “The Brainwashing of My Dad” A filmmaker, Jen Senko, tries to understand the transformation of her father from a non-political, life-long Democrat to an angry, right-wing fanatic, she uncovers the forces behind the media that changed him completely. As her journey continues, we discover that her father is part of a much broader demographic, and that the story is one that affects us all.
SPEAKER: Professor John Harrington. John taught film studies for 30+ years - primarily at UMass, Amherst, and Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo. He is a founding Board member of the San Luis Obispo Film Festival. He and his wife, Terry live in Gig Harbor.
