New Winter Sip & Stroll to debut February 13

"Love the Wine You're With" on Gig Harbor's Downtown Waterfront!

Gig Harbor, WA – The Gig Harbor Downtown Waterfront Alliance is proud to announce the debut of its first Winter Sip & Stroll on Saturday, February 13 from 1pm – 5pm. Modeled after the very successful Sip & Stroll held this past summer in July as part of the Gig Harbor Wine & Food Festival, the winter version will take patrons on a tour of beautiful Downtown Gig Harbor for mingling, nibbling and sipping inside a number of great local businesses serving as stroll stops. Each stroll stop offers a different selection of wine or craft beer, spirits or cider. Many will offer delicious small food bites, some with a sweet “Valentines” appeal for the holiday. The Alliance will provide Complimentary shuttle transportation aboard Pierce Transit’s Gig Harbor Trolley throughout the downtown waterfront. Participants will have a wonderful opportunity to acquaint themselves with the variety of establishments that Downtown Gig Harbor has to offer while enjoying Valentine’s weekend. It’s a great time to “love the wine you’re with!”

Participants will receive a carrying bag, tasting glass, 15 taste tickets for alcohol and a map to stroll through the downtown waterfront. Heritage Distilling, 7 Seas Brewing, The Harbor General Store, The Weathered Cottage, Finholm Market and Sea Hags are among the 13 stroll stops for tastes of wines, spirits, brews and cider from the Pacific Northwest. Winter Sip & Stroll tickets can be purchased by visiting www.bit.ly/sipandstroll, for $30 if purchased in advance, $35 if purchased on the day of the event.

The Winter Sip & Stroll is a Gig Harbor Wine & Food Festival event, presented by the Gig Harbor Downtown Waterfront Alliance and the Rotary Club of Gig Harbor. For more information, contact the Alliance office at 253-514-0071 or visit Gig Harbor Wine & Food Festival on Facebook.
