The 4th Annual Gig Harbor Wine and Food Festival Returns on July 26, 2014 At The Harbor History Museum

Gig Harbor, WA - This popular festival is back for its 4th year and will feature 50+ vendors providing wine, beer and food tastings from many regional wineries and restaurants. The event also includes educational classes and demonstrations, and previously hosted a Celebrity Chef “Cook-off” as well as onsite exhibitors, auctions, and popular Wine Maker Dinners.

About 700 persons have been on site for the past three festivals. The event returns to the beautiful waterfront site of the Harbor History Museum for its fourth year. The Harbor History Museum is located at 4121 Harborview DR, Gig Harbor, WA. The site has undergone a big transformation with landscaping that features a view of the Donkey Creek salmon stream. The Festival was not held in 2013 due to the Donkey Creek Restoration project on the site.

This year’s event will be jointly sponsored by the Gig Harbor Downtown Waterfront Alliance and the morning Gig Harbor Rotary. The morning Gig Harbor Rotary Club is one of the largest clubs in Pierce County with over 120 members; they will add momentum and energy to ensure another highly successful event.

Vendors and attendees will be able to sign up soon as the festival committee is now fine tuning specifics. Additional details to be announced through email campaigns, future press releases, the Wine and Food Facebook page and website.
