Tickets Now On Sale For 2015 Wine & Food Festival


Gig Harbor, WA – The Gig Harbor Downtown Waterfront Alliance and the Rotary Club of Gig Harbor are excited to announce that the 2015 Wine & Food Festival is expanding into a three day event, starting on Thursday, July 23rd and running through Saturday, July 25th. The expanded event allows for more choices for the attendees to pick dates and events that work best for their busy summer schedules. It is an opportunity to spend the weekend enjoying the downtown waterfront of Gig Harbor while tasting wine, spirits, brews and food from around the region.

The Wine & Food Festival Weekend kicks off with the all new Waterfront Sip & Stroll on Thursday, July 23rd. This event will run from 5pm – 8pm with check-in at 7 Seas Brewery and is sponsored by The Threshold Group. Participants will receive a tasting glass and a map to stroll through the downtown waterfront, stopping at places like Heritage Distilling, Bella’s Kitchen Essentials, Gig Harbor Audio, and other predetermined locations for tastes of various wines, spirits and brews. Price to attend this event is $30.

Friday evening there will be Winemaker Dinners held at various restaurants around the downtown waterfront. Additional details for these Winemaker Dinners will be announced soon.

The Grand Tasting on Saturday, July 25th will open at 12:00PM and run until 4:30pm. Anthony’s Restaurant is the Title Sponsor for this year's event and their Executive, Chef Pat Donahue, will be participating as the Festival's Celebrity Chef along with Chef Thierry Rautureau from Loulay and Luc.

2015 Grand Tasting Highlights include:

· Tasting tents with 60+ wineries, craft distilleries, breweries and select fine restaurants and food purveyors

• Celebrity chef appearances

• Book signings by local authors

• Onsite retail purchasing of wine, craft distillery and brewery products

• A wide selection of educational offerings, including wine seminars and cooking demonstrations, mixed drinks and beer pairings, is available for additional ticket purchase. Space is very limited, be sure to sign up early!

Early Bird ticket prices are $65 from now until May 15th, , $75 starting May 16 until the event date where there will be a gate price of $90 on Festival Day if the event has not sold out.
