Golfing in Gig Harbor

The Puget Sound region and Pierce County in particular will host two amateur golf events in August, only minutes from the beautiful and historic waterfront of Gig Harbor. And although small, Gig Harbor is putting out the red carpet and welcoming golfers and visitors for these events.

August 23-29th

Transport to Chambers Bay will be provided via boat and mini bus. The trip will allow our drivers to meet you at a local Gig Harbor Hotel/Park and Ride Lot transport to the dock and then from the dock to the course, via Harbor Tours boat Destiny. At the end of the day the return trip will be via boat or bus, your choice.

Join us for these events!  August 16th – 19th Canterwood Golf and Country Club in Gig Harbor will host the World Amateur Scratch Players Tournament and August 23rd-29th Chambers Bay Golf Course in University Place will host the 2010 Amateur. Both these tournaments are a stones-throw from all the great things there is to do and see in beautiful Gig Harbor.
