2015 Events Calendar Takes Shape

Gig Harbor, Wash. - January 27th, 2015 – Gig Harbor, the historic maritime village at the west side of the Tacoma Narrows Bridge, is announcing a compelling line up of events for 2015. The full schedule includes year round happenings, festivals, activities, and more.

“You never need to wonder if there is something going on in Gig Harbor,” said Karen Scott, Tourism and Communications Director, City of Gig Harbor. “There’s always something fun to do here.”

From now through March 15, the waterfront Harbor History Museum is presenting “Outside The Lines: A History of Gig Harbor Through the Editorial Cartoons of Don Snowden, 1978 – Present.”

Other highlighted events include the Gig Harbor Paddlers Cup (April 11 and 12), Gig Harbor Garden Tour (June 27 and 28), Gig Harbor Summer Arts Festival (July 18 and 19), Gig Harbor Wine & Food Festival (July 25), and Donkey Creek Chum Festival (Sept. 19) – an activity-filled, community celebration of the return of salmon to local waters.
