A New Way to Support The Harbor History Museum

Starting on January 13 The Harbor History Museum introduced a new way for community members to show their support for the museum; parlor meetings. These meetings are hosted by museum board members or community supporters with the goal of raising ten new Peninsula Society Members for the museum. The Peninsula Society is the museum’s leadership giving society for supporters donating annually at the $250 level or above. The museum’s first parlor meeting was hosted by board member Cheri Johnson, which drew around 50 people to the museum for an evening of music, mingling, and engagement. The museum will be hosting parlor meetings twice each month.

As a thank you to our Peninsula Society members the Museum will host a complimentary reception for members of The Peninsula Society on February 11. This event will be catered by Brix 25 and feature a live performance of opera arias by Annika Abbott. If you are interested in hosting a parlor meeting or for more information on joining The Peninsula Society please contact Jason Stanley, Development Director, at 253-858-6722 ext 3 or via email at
