Candlelight Christmas in the Harbor Returns to the Gig Harbor Historic Waterfront
Gig Harbor, WA – November 15, 2011 – Shop Gig Harbor’s Historic Waterfront and immerse yourself in the sights, sounds and tastes of an old fashioned, small town Christmas!
The holiday fun begins on Tuesday, December 6th at 8pm at Skansie Brothers Park with Hark the Harbor! Join the community caroling with Sharon Stearnes while awaiting the exciting arrival of the Argosy Christmas Ship and a performance by the St. Martins University Chorale.
The waterfront merchants are ready to welcome you in with great holiday specials, treats, and extended shopping hours Friday, December 9th through Sunday, December 11th! New this year, shoppers and visitors will have a chance to vote for the People’s Choice Award in the “Deck the Windows” contest, featuring festive window displays highlighting the Candlelight Christmas theme. The ever popular Holiday Hayrides with Santa return again, being offered from 4:30pm – 7:30pm on both Friday and Saturday. Boarding takes place on Judson Street! Shoppers will also enjoy the sounds of the holidays with music throughout the weekend.
