September 23rd, Gig Harbor Wash; The Downtown Waterfront Alliance, the Gig Harbor Morning Rotary, the City of Gig Harbor and the citizens of Gig Harbor will celebrate the life of long-time Gig Harbor resident and businessman Conrad Schick at a dedication on Tuesday, October 15th at 11:30 am.

CONNIE’S CLOCK, a beautiful new feature at the Bogue Viewing Platform on North Harborview Drive, will be marked with a permanent plaque to remember Connie Schick who died April 10th of 2010. The clock, which was donated to the City of Gig Harbor by the Gig Harbor Morning Rotary, honors Connie who was a vital part of the Gig Harbor community and a business owner who played a key role in our business and volunteer community in Gig Harbor.

Connie’s friends, customers and admirers are welcome to join in the celebration, which is hosted by the Gig Harbor Rotary and the Downtown Waterfront Alliance and members of Connie’s family. Light refreshments will be served.
