Finally, there are music gigs in Gig Harbor. The first dedicated music venue in the small town's history is opening September 19th with a ribbon cutting ceremony at 5 PM. The place is called "The Gig Spot". It is an all ages facility with a 121 person capacity and is being presented by "Regan's Rock School", a local music instruction business. Students of the rock school will be performing on stage at the event. Their grand opening is October 5th when Stephanie Anne Johnson, who auditioned for the latest season of NBC's "The Voice" becomes the first professional artist to take the stage. Acts from all over the world are being brought in to the first of it's kind Gig Harbor theater.
