Gig Harbor, WA, February 1, 2011

The Harbor History Museum is proud to present Men’s Night, just in time for Valentine’s Day. The Museum will be pairing with 7 Seas Brewing Co. to bring you a night of beer, appetizers and shopping with surprise deals at the door.

“We understand that buying Valentine’s gifts can be a little daunting, so we’ve come up with a solution. Significant others can come down before February 10 and fill out a ‘Valentine’s Wish List’ that we’ll keep on file; gift buying has never been this easy,” said Alyssa Taylor, Gift Shop Manager.

The Museum Gift Shop has a wide variety of items including jewelry, glass art, sculptures, books, dishware, note cards, and many more nostalgic and historical items. Men’s Night will take place on February 10 from 5pm to 7pm. The event is free for members and $3.00 for non-members. Beer and appetizers will be provided by 7 Seas Brewing Co and the Harbor History Museum.

“The Gift Shop has a lot to offer from ship and fishing memorabilia to incredible art by local artists; it’s a great place to buy gifts, not just souvenirs,” said Jennifer Kilmer, Executive Director.

The Gig Harbor Peninsula Historical Society dba Harbor History Museum was founded in 1963, and opened a museum in 1973.  The mission of the Harbor History Museum is to create opportunities to experience the heritage of the greater Gig Harbor communities.  We do this by collecting, preserving, and sharing this area’s history.  The museum is open Tuesday – Sunday, 10am – 5pm, except major holidays.
