Gig Harbor Chamber to Take Trip to the Capitol!

Gig Harbor, WA - The Gig Harbor Chamber and their Public Affairs Committee are planning yet another great lineup of speakers for this year’s annual trip to Olympia on Thursday, February 13th. This event is hosted by the Gig Harbor Chamber of Commerce to bring together citizens and business leaders with their District and State Representatives to discuss issues that will impact our community. This year’s Olympia Day is being sponsored by Comcast.

The day will begin at Cottesmore where the Public Affairs Forum meets at 7:30am. Following the PAF meeting 25 participants will board a bus and head down to the capitol to meet with key leaders from both parties.

Last year the attendees met with Governor Jay Inslee, Majority Coalition Leader Tom Rodney, Majority Caucus Chair Linda Parlette, Deputy State Auditor Matt Miller and many others. Senator Jan Angel, Representatives Larry Seaquist and Jesse Young, all from the 26th District, will be joining the Gig Harbor group for lunch and conversation about the current session.
