Gig Harbor Toastmasters Hosting Humorous Speech and Table Topics Contest

(Gig Harbor, Washington, USA, August 3, 2017)—Gig Harbor Toastmasters (http://gigharbor.easy-speak.org) will be hosting its Bi-Annual Humorous Speech and Table Topics® Contest on Wednesday, August 9, 2017. The contest consists of two competitions: Humorous Speech and Table Topics.
In the Humorous Speech portion, members will deliver 5 to 7 minute speeches, thematic in nature, that are meant to make the audience laugh, while delivering a message.
Table Topics® is a long-standing Toastmasters tradition intended to help members develop their ability to organize their thoughts quickly and respond to an impromptu question or topic. Contestants will deliver a 1 to 2 minute speech in response to the question or topic.
Winners of both competitions will move on to compete at the Area 23/24 Humorous Speech and Table Topics® Contest on August 19
Gig Harbor Toastmasters invites residents from around Gig Harbor and surrounding communities to attend get a glimpse of what Toastmasters and the Gig Harbor Club is all about.
