Gig Harbor’s Season of Summer Fun is Here
Summer Sounds at Skansie and Movies in the Park debut next week

Gig Harbor, Wash. June 20th, 2016 - The season of summer fun is about to begin. The line-up for Summer Sounds at Skansie 2016 is better than ever. The extremely popular and free outdoor concert series will begin on June 28th and run on consecutive Tuesdays until August 16th. All concerts start at 6:30pm and are held on the waterfront in Skansie Brothers Park, in downtown Gig Harbor. The event is rain or shine. The concerts are sponsored by CHI Franciscan Health and Harbor Hill.

We are also pleased to offer an exciting new format for 2016 Friday Family Fun Movies in the Park hosted at Skansie Brothers Park each Friday in July. This program is provided to our community by our returning sponsors of Taylor Thomason Insurance and MultiCare Gig Harbor Medical Park.

This year’s lineup includes:

July 1st Minions beginning at 9:15pm
July 8th The Lego Movie beginning at 9:15pm
July 15th Aladdin beginning at 9:00pm
July 22nd The Good Dino beginning at 9:00pm
July 29th Brave beginning at 8:30pm

Times are approximate and movies will start when it is dark enough. Movies are cancelled during rain or high wind. Bring chairs or blankets.
