Harbor History Museum Jazzes Up Concert Series

Harbor History Museum is ready to shake off the winter blues and get energized. The Museum is thrilled to announce that Hook Me Up, a fun and funky Tacoma-based jazz and pop quartet, will be performing on April 14th as part of its regular Third Thursdays at the Museum concert series.

While the members of the band come from different backgrounds, this seasoned group of jazz musicians know how to get their groove on. Hook Me Up features the following performers: Tracey D. Hooker, Grammy Award-winning trumpeter; James C. Cochran, pianist for numerous popular Pacific Northwest groups such as the Groovin' Higher Jazz Orchestra; Osama Afifi, a bassist who has performed with everyone from Yani to Vanessa Paradis; and Aaron C. Hennings, one of the Northwest's finest drummers, who has played with jazz favorites such as Doc Severinsen. This group, a favorite in the South Sound region, has a compelling performance style that will have you tapping your feet long after the show is over.

Doors open at 6:30pm. Light appetizers and a cash bar are available. Tickets are $18 for members and $28 for non-members. To purchase tickets, visit or call 253-858-6722.

Guest should note that this concert takes place on the second Thursday of April. Concerts will resume the regular third Thursday schedule in May.
