Meaningful Movies in Gig Harbor


Known as Colony Collapse Disorder, this phenomenon has brought beekeepers to crisis in an industry responsible for producing apples, broccoli, watermelon, onions, cherries and a hundred other fruits and vegetables. Commercial honeybee operations pollinate crops that make up one out of every three bites of food on our tables.

The Puget Sound Beekeepers Association will be leading a community discussion and answering your bee questions.

WHO:    Meaningful Movies in Gig Harbor presents VANISHING OF THE BEES, a documentary.

WHAT:  This documentary takes a piercing investigative look at the economic, political ... Vanishing of the Bees   Following this movie will be community discussion lead by the Puget Sound Bee Keepers.  What can you do to make your garden more attractive to bees?

WHEN:  Friday January 13, 2017   7pm

COST:  The movies are free to the public.  Donations are gratefully accepted.

We are an all-volunteer, community-owned organization, and are not religiously or politically affiliated.

All events are open to the public and admission is free.  We encourage a small donation to help cover screening rights.
