Meaningful Movies in Gig Harbor Presents the Documentary "Dammed to Extinction"

Meaningful Movies in Gig Harbor presents the documentary “Dammed to Extinction" on Friday, June 14, 2019, 6 pm for snacks; 6:30 pm for the movie. Held at 11051 Peacock Hill, inside Agnus Dei Church.

"Come for the free movie.  Stay for the stimulating community discussion."

"Dammed to Extinction”: Four obsolete dams on the Snake River in the Pacific Northwest choke off access to thousands of miles of rivers. Removing these dams will save money, salmon and orcas.  Will the dams be removed?

Special Guest: Jim Waddell CE/PE

His work shows breaching the 4 Lower Snake Dams is not only a sound biological choice but will prevent the waste of millions of taxpayer’s dollars and loss of economic benefits to the Nation and region.

The event is free to the public; donation is gratefully accepted.
