Meaningful Movies in Gig Harbor Presents the Documentary "I Am Evidence"

Meaningful Movies in Gig Harbor presents the documentary “I Am Evidence" on Friday, July 12, 2019, 6 pm for snacks and socializing; 6:30 pm for the movie. Held at 11051 Peacock Hill, inside Agnus Dei Church.

"Come for the free movie.  Stay for the stimulating community discussion."

"I Am Evidence” exposes the alarming number of untested rape kits in the United States through a character–driven narrative, bringing much needed attention to the disturbing pattern of how the criminal justice system has historically treated sexual assault survivors. We will follow the movie with a discussion on progress made and what we can all do to help.

Special Guest: Captain Monica Alexander, Washington State Patrol.  Ms. Alexander will share information on the most recent legislation to make sure rape kits are processed

The event is free to the public; donation is gratefully accepted.
