Meaningful Movies in Gig Harbor Presents the Documentary "Iran: Yesterday and Tomorrow"
Meaningful Movies in Gig Harbor presents the documentary “Iran: Yesterday and Tomorrow” on Friday, February 14, 2020, 6 pm for snacks and socializing; 6:30 pm for the movie. Held at 11051 Peacock Hill, inside Agnus Dei Church.
"Come for the free movie. Stay for the stimulating community discussion."
“Iran: Yesterday and Tomorrow” was filmed by Rick Steves a decade ago when he traveled to Iran at a time when talk of war between the U.S. and Iran was in the air. Similar talk reoccurs from time to time within our country even though the consequences of armed conflict for both countries would be great. “Iran: Yesterday and Today” provides a view into the lives of ordinary Iranians as well as some of the history of that country.
The event is free to the public; donation is gratefully accepted. Contact: Jeni Woock, firstname.lastname@example.org.
