Meaningful Movies in Gig Harbor Presents the Documentary "Rights of Nature"

Meaningful Movies in Gig Harbor presents the documentary “Rights of Nature" on Friday, March 8, 2019, 6 pm for snacks; 6:30 pm for the movie. Held at 11051 Peacock Hill, inside Agnus Dei Church.

"Come for the free movie.  Stay for the stimulating community discussion."

"Rights of Nature" is a world-wide movement creating human communities that respect and defend the rights of nature. The primary premise is that humans must reorient ourselves to honor the deep interrelation of all life and contribute to the health and integrity of the natural environment.

An essential step in achieving this is to create a system of jurisprudence that sees and treats nature as a fundamental, rights-bearing entity and not as mere property to be exploited at will.

The event is free to the public; donation is gratefully accepted.

Meaningful Movies in Gig Harbor is dedicated to connecting one person to one person at a time through rebuilding a storytelling tradition and fostering vital community dialogue. Film coupled with meaningful conversation is a subtle, yet powerful way of recognizing these similarities, rebuilding a storytelling tradition and fostering a vital community dialog. Always the 2nd Friday of every month, 6:30 pm at 10511 Peacock Hill Ave, Gig Harbor.
