Traveling together for the first time, these writers hail from Washington to Texas. “I am looking forward to working with such talented authors in Washington State. It is an honor to be included,” says James William Peercy who has traveled thousands of miles to be a part of this tour.

The unveiling of Gardner’s 9’ Dragon (Old Stone Heart), a triptych oil painting will be a highlight to the introduction of her first book in a trilogy The Ian’s Realm Saga: Deception Peak. Other original oil painting illustrations from Deception Peak will also be on display. Deception Peak has been nominated for an International Reading Association New Author for Children’s Books award. Rave reviews of Peercy's works have compared this new voice in suspense to Raymond Khoury and John Grisham. Of his most recent effort, Without A Conscious..., author Desiree Finkbeiner states it is a "highly recommended read for those who enjoy action packed mystery crime thrillers with a little twist of romance."

Bestselling fantasy author Gwen Perkins will be sharing hints of the adventure to come in the next novel in her Artifacts of Empire series while showcasing some of the physical artifacts that have brought her stories to life. The first book in this series, The Universal Mirror, is a nominee for the 2013 Endeavour Award. As a historian and researcher, Perkins often finds great inspiration in unusual settings and the stories of the past. "I'm excited to have a chance to tell readers the real behind-the-scenes secrets about my series," says Perkins. "I think there'll be some big surprises for the audience who comes to the readings."
