Natural Yard Care Workshops Return to Gig Harbor in September

Gig Harbor, Wash. July 25, 2012 –The City of Gig Harbor and Tacoma-Pierce County Health Department are presenting a fun, Free and informative “Natural Yard Care” workshop series in September. Learn how to design and maintain a beautiful landscape the natural way.

Three workshops will address a variety of yard maintenance issues. Learn how to have a beautiful yard and what you can do to protect water quality in our community. The workshops are free, but space is limited so reservations are recommended for the following;

6:30-8:30 p.m. Practical Weed Management – Liesl Zappler, Horticulture Consultant
