City of Gig Harbor and Tacoma-Pierce County Health Department

to partner on free educational, workshops in April


Gig Harbor, Wash. – March 22, 2011 – This spring, the City of Gig Harbor and the Tacoma- Pierce County Health Department will sponsor informational workshops for residents to learn about natural yard care practices and the role our yards play in preserving our environment. The workshops are free, but space is limited and pre-registration is encouraged.

Soils, Mulching & Compost


Wednesday April 13th     Choosing the Right Plant for the Right Place with Greg Rabourn from KUOW’s “Green Days Gardening”, Garden Pest Management


Wednesday April 20th  Natural Lawn Care, Smart Gardening & Vegetable Gardening at Home
