Opening Night is Almost Here!
Follow the Yellow Brick Road to Gig Harbor for an enchanted evening away with the family, as The Meadow at Sehmel Homestead Park transforms into the magical land of OZ. The new PenMet Family Theater presents a unique community production of L. Frank Baum’s "The Wonderful Wizard of Oz"
Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, August 5th -21st at 7pm.
Tickets are only $5 and available on-site one hour before curtain.
Bring chairs, a blanket and picnic or partake of the concessions available. Then relax and enjoy the show as you and your family are transported through one of the most beloved stories of all time. The park is located at 10123 78th Avenue NW Gig Harbor.
PenMet Parks’ Fourth Annual Family Fun Fest is Saturday, August 27th, from 11am-2pm at Sehmel Homestead Park, 10123 – 78th Ave NW, Gig Harbor where you can:
Jump in bounce houses and ride slides
Play carnival games
Watch a Magic Show at 11 am
Listen to Tropical Rock Music with Dave Calhoun
Listen to Bonzai Billy and the Riptides
Grab a bite to eat.
Get a balloon or a temporary tattoo.
Find a group game or relay you like
Ride a train
Play a little volleyball, Frisbee, and other games
And have fun.
Sehmel Homestead Park also has a Boundless Playground, basketball courts, and tennis courts.
At 1:45pm there will be a raffle for several fun prizes to conclude the Fun Fest.
