Singer Songwriter Ian Moore to Play Morso


January 9, 2012- Ian Moore is playing Thursday January 12, 2012 at 8 pm at Morso in Gig HarborIan is a prolific singer songwriter from Seattle who was spawned from the 90's roots rock scene of Austin, TX and gained popularity as a guitar prodigy.  He has opened solo, full North American tours for the Rolling Stones, Bob Dylan, ZZ Top and British icon Paul Weller and recently played sideman to artists as diverse as Roky Erickson and Jason Mraz. Ian is performing an acoustic show as part of the Americana Music Series produced by Michael ONeill and Morso.  Tickets are $25 and can be purchased at Morso or by calling Morso at 530-3463. 


Now as renowned for his soulful vocals and insightful lyricism as his stellar fretwork,  Moore has been headlining theaters and club venues throughout the US and Europe for almost two decades. His songwriting credits include co-writes with Steve Cropper (Knock on Wood, Wait til' the Midnite Hour, Dock of the Bay), Jason Sheff of Chicago, the Dead's Bob Wier and world famous producer John Shanks.
