State Parks and City Partnership on Mobile Vessel Pumpout Program to End February 29

Washington State Parks’ pilot grant program, providing free mobile pumpout services to recreational boaters in several locations, including Gig Harbor, will be ending effective March 1, 2020.

The pilot program, administered through the State Parks’ Clean Vessel Act (CVA) Grant Program, had helped to support a mobile vessel pump-out program in Gig Harbor since the summer of 2017.  With the pilot program and the grant agreements to Terry & Son’s (who provided the services), ending on March 1, there will not be a free mobile pumpout service in Gig Harbor after February 29, 2020.

Pumpout services are still available in Gig Harbor year-round at:

The City of Gig Harbor’s Maritime Pier

Arabella’s Landing Marina (but please call first for accessibility at 253-851-1793).

Pumpout services are available seasonally at the City of Gig Harbor’s Jerisich Dock.
