Table 47 Welcomes New Executive Chef Kyle Campisi

Table 47, a locally owned farm-fresh restaurant and caterer in Gig Harbor, announces the hiring of new Executive Chef Kyle Campisi.

Chef Kyle has built his culinary career through various restaurants and venues in the region. Most recently, he spent 6.5 years as the Executive Chef of Private Dining at X-Group Restaurants, Tacoma, WA. During this time, he managed multiple restaurants simultaneously, honing his restaurant management and business skills. He also led the private dining division of X-Group’s large catering business, including the planning and executing of multiple course menus for events as large as over 1,000 guests. 

Prior to the X-Group, Chef Kyle was the Executive Chef at Rendezvous Wine and Brew in Enumclaw, WA, and Sous Chef at Salish Lodge and Spa in Snoqualmie, WA.Chef Kyle is an American Culinary Federation certified culinarian and has 6 won state and regional championships through ACF competitions. “I work really well under pressure and enjoy the fast pace of this industry. The competitions were great experiences and prepared me to lead events like plating multiple courses for 500 guests on a timeline,” he says. 

His sourcing philosophy aligns with Table 47’s core values of responsible sourcing, starting close to home and organic when possible. He plans to continue to work directly with existing farm relationships, while exploring new opportunities for the future.  

You can experience Chef Kyle’s style during Tacoma Restaurant Week, starting October 20, 2019. The featured menu includes dishes he created during his Table 47 interviews and represent just the start of the flavors and creativity he brings to the restaurant. Tacoma Restaurant Week menu is offered Sunday-Thursdays, October 20-24 and October 27-31, with both lunch ($15 for 2 course) and dinner ($30 for 3 course) menus.
