Winner Selected in Waterfront Scavenger Hunt

Gig Harbor, WA – December 13, 2012 - New this year to the waterfront’s annual Candlelight Christmas in the Harbor weekend was a holiday scavenger hunt. Santa lost his cookie plate and shoppers had the opportunity to find it at 48 participating businesses. If you found a plate in one of your favorite stores or eating establishments that weekend, your name was entered into a drawing for a $500 waterfront holiday shopping spree, sponsored by the Waterfront Association and the participating merchants.

Congratulations to Jarusha Kenyon, the winner of the "Where's Santa's Cookie Plate" Shopping Spree! The winning ticket was drawn from tickets collected at Kelly’s Café & Espresso. During Candlelight Christmas weekend, Santa's Cookie Plate was found over 800 times!!! Thank you to all the businesses that participated and to Java & Clay Cafe for the production of all the cookie plates!
